The article talked about a Beluga whale named NOC who is able to makes noises like the human voice. While a diver was swimming in a pool one day, he heard someone asking him to get out of the water, but when he got out, he realized that it was the whale who was making the sounds. Many researchers were surprised to hear a Beluga whale make sounds like that, because they usually don't make sounds like that in the wild. This is an important discovery because it means that whales can learn how to make new sounds just by listening. I think that this was a fascinating article, and it was very interesting
to learn about the Beluga whale named NOC. I had no idea that whales
were able to make sounds that mimic human voices, especially because so far
there is only one whale we know who can do this, NOC. If whales can talk, I would really like to have a conversation with them to know what they are thinking about!
